Excellence in Roofing, Guaranteed
Nestled amidst the stunning natural surroundings of the Isle of Wight, The Highdown Inn and B&B stands as a quintessential example of a traditional country pub. With a rich history and a warm, inviting atmosphere, our establishment has gained a reputation as one of the best-rated pubs on the island, known for its charm, charisma, and unbeatable positioning.
As you step into our bar, we encourage you to take a moment to soak in the ambiance and engage in friendly conversation with the locals. Our blackboard specials offer a range of delectable and locally sourced meals, which can be perfectly paired with a wine from our extensive list or a refreshing cold beer or real ale from our award-winning selection.
During the colder months, there's nothing quite like spending your evenings in front of our roaring log fire, located near the bar. However, if the weather permits, our sumptuously refurbished restaurant and beautiful garden area, complete with a stunning gazebo, provide the perfect setting for you to enjoy a meal. Our seasonal menu, which includes various seasonal 'game' specialties, has garnered an unrivalled reputation for its outstanding value and mouth-watering quality.
The Highdown Inn and B&B are proud to welcome walkers, dogs, muddy boots, and cyclists, so feel free to come inside or enjoy our garden area. We are open seven days a week, with food available from Monday to Friday between 12 pm and 3 pm and 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday between 12 pm and 8:30 pm.
