Bramford Pre-school Playgroup

Welcome to Bramford Pre-School Playgroup, a friendly and welcoming playgroup based in the village of Bramford, just on the outskirts of Ipswich. We offer sessional care for children from the age of 2 up until compulsory school age, providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that allows children to thrive in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Our History and Commitment

As a small village-based pre-school, we have been established within our community for over 50 years, and throughout this time, our commitment to providing the best early years education has remained unwavering. Our friendly, enthusiastic, and qualified staff work tirelessly to create an environment that is both fun and educational, where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. We are proud to have been awarded 'good' in all categories during our most recent OFSTED inspection, and we continue to hold a 5-star rating from the Food Standards Agency.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to meet the needs of our children and their families. These include:

• Sessional care for children aged 2-5 years
• Breakfast club, morning, lunch club, and afternoon sessions available term-time and during selected holidays
• Mixed-age sessions Monday to Friday
• A maximum of 33 children per session, allowing for a more personalized and focused approach to learning
• A registered charity, providing funding support for eligible families

Our Approach

Our approach to early years education is centered around the principles of the EYFS framework, which sets the standards for learning, development, and care for children from birth to 5 years. We believe that every child is unique and special, and that they should be given the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow in a way that is tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
