Our History
Gomersal Lodge Hotel has a rich history, having been built for Mary Taylor on her return from New Zealand in 1860. Mary Taylor became famous for her friendship with Charlotte Bronte, which lasted a lifetime. The hotel has been restored to its former glory with modern design throughout, offering a unique and exclusive wedding and events venue.

Our permanent marquee, attached to the hotel, can accommodate up to 200 for dining and 250 for evening parties and receptions, making it one of the most elegant settings for a wedding venue in the West Yorkshire area.
