About Us

Mill Road Motors began when Jules McHugh, at the age of 18, started buying cars for friends with limited budgets who weren't sure what they were looking for. He soon established a unit on Mill Road, which acted as his showroom, sub-contracting out engine and bodywork repairs to other local companies. In 2018, Jules moved the business across the road, where he gained a workshop and more garage space. He has recently installed a state-of-the-art spray booth so that Mill Road Motors can now offer a full range of services under the same roof.

As a teenager in the notoriously untrustworthy car business, Jules knew he had to deliver exceptional service and quality, reliable cars if he was to counter the natural scepticism of early buyers. He has since built an enviable reputation on cornerstones of Trust, Knowledge, Quality, and a Friendly approach, ensuring happy, satisfied customers.
