Our story began in 1948, when partners George Payne, Stan Talyor, and Nobby Clark established PSM, a business specializing in sheet metal work. Initially based opposite Parkgate, PSM has grown and developed alongside its customers for over seven decades. Today, we are proud to be experts in the production and development of lightweight metal components for the world's leading manufacturers of high-performance, electric, and niche vehicles. We work with our customers through every stage of vehicle development, from prototyping and verification to full production and aftermarket. Our in-house tooling and design facilities, combined with our advanced production facilities, enable us to work with some of the world's leading automotive companies, including Aston Martin, Jaguar Land Rover, Volta, and LEVC.

Facilities

Our facilities are equipped with the latest manufacturing technology, enabling us to provide a comprehensive range of services to our customers. Our tooling and prototyping facilities are dedicated to supporting our customers through the early stages of development. We design and manufacture bespoke press tooling, laser fixtures, and low-volume parts. Our laser cutting technology from Trumpf and Amada supports our customers' growing production requirements. Our press shop is home to a range of presses up to 800t, including a double-sided 600t hydraulic press. We also have a standalone press brake facility, which is home to 12 Amada press brakes, two robots, and our team of press braking experts. Our assembly and welding team of skilled sheet metal workers, welders, and assembly workers can carry out the most complex assignments. Our logistics and distribution center can support even the most demanding delivery schedules.
