Spacious and Comfortable Rooms

Our rooms are large, light, and airy, with some en suite and all offering private washing facilities. We have single and double rooms available, allowing couples to stay together. All of our rooms are comfortably furnished, and residents are encouraged to personalise their own space by bringing in paintings, ornaments, and other items from home. At Freegrove, we want our residents to feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

Fully Trained Staff On Duty 24 Hours a Day

Freegrove is an E.M.I. registered home, and we have fully trained staff on duty 24 hours a day. Our staff are attentive and happy to cater to all of our residents' needs and requests. We believe that it is important to treat each resident with respect and dignity, and our staff are committed to providing the best possible care.

Respite Care

Respite care is a very important part of what we offer at Freegrove. This spacious, well-appointed room can be booked up to six months in advance and is available for a day, weekend, or longer period. Our respite care facility enables carers to have some necessary time apart, knowing that their charge is in capable hands and well looked after.

Tasty Meals Prepared on the Premises

At Freegrove, we believe that good nutrition is essential for good health. That's why we prepare tasty meals on the premises, freshly every day. We cater for special diets such as diabetes or vegetarian, and guests can take their meals in the dining room or in their own room if they prefer.

A Wide Variety of Activities

We arrange a wide variety of activities on a regular basis, including a sing-song around the piano in one of the guest lounges. The chiropodist visits to look after guests' feet and toes, and the hairdresser makes regular visits to ensure that guests always look their best. We have strong links with the local community and the vicar comes in from Pennington Church to give communion once a month. The children come in from the local school to sing carols at Christmas.

Encouraging Residents to Stay Active

Residents are encouraged to keep active and go out on visits within the area with family or friends. The picturesque New Forest is just a few miles away, and the unspoilt beaches of Milford and Barton on Sea are just a short drive. There are also plenty of colourful gardens to visit and places to stop for tea, coffee, or lunch.
