At the Dance Factory, we are proud to have an unparalleled commitment to quality Dance Education, with over thirty-five years of excellence in teaching children, adults, and professionals. Our status as an Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Approved Dance Centre offering the government-recognised professional teaching qualifications of the Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) is a testament to our dedication to providing top-notch instruction.

We offer a wide range of dance classes for children from three years of age onwards, as well as adults and professionals. Our classes cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers, and our experienced instructors are passionate about helping students achieve their full potential. Whether you're looking to improve your technique, gain confidence, or simply have fun, we have something for everyone.

Our story is one of dedication, hard work, and a passion for dance. With many former students having gone on to have successful and fulfilling careers in the performing arts worldwide, we take pride in knowing that our students have benefited from our expertise and guidance. We also have had students further their education at prestigious institutions such as Laine Theatre Arts, Bird College, Italia Conti, Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Performers College, and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Meet The Team

Our team of instructors is led by Lesley, a Fellow and Examiner of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, who is one of the most experienced and respected teachers in the country. Lesley's extensive experience in choreography has seen her work with Imagine Productions, the BBC, Scottish Television, and Scottish Opera, among others. Our other instructors, Megan, Lauren, and Sophie, bring their own unique experiences and qualifications to the table, including degrees in marketing, entrepreneurship, musical theatre, and professional stage dance.

Our Services

We offer a variety of dance classes for children, adults, and professionals, including modern, tap, and other styles. Our classes are designed to be fun, engaging, and challenging, with a focus on technique, expression, and creativity. We also provide opportunities for students to perform in showcases, productions, and competitions, helping to build confidence and stage presence.

In addition to our regular classes, we offer specialized workshops, masterclasses, and coaching sessions for those looking to improve specific skills or prepare for auditions. Our experienced instructors are always happy to provide guidance and support to help students achieve their goals.
