Welcome to Pakefield Riding School, one of the oldest and best-known riding centres and stables in the East of England. Our riding school is pleasantly situated close to the countryside and Pakefield beach, offering a wide range of activities to novices, experienced, and advanced equestrian enthusiasts. We take pride in our team of BHS Qualified Instructors, who are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all our riders. Our horses and ponies are well-mannered, suitable for all ages and abilities, and are carefully selected to ensure a perfect match for each rider.
Our History and Achievements
We are recognised and approved by the British Horse Society, Association of British Riding Schools, and Riding for the Disabled. Our commitment to excellence has earned us several prestigious awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award for our owner and proprietor, Tess Hardy, at the 2022 Equestrian Business Awards. Additionally, our Chief Instructor, Gemma Collison, was a finalist in the Instructor of the Year award category. We were also honoured as one of the three best riding schools in the country.
