From a modest 2 man core management team, the company has grown to employ a team of 17 fully qualified tradesmen, including painters and decorators, plumbers, electricians, and shopfitters. Montgomery-Coates Ltd has a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects for private clients, historical buildings, new builds, and leading construction companies.

Our decoration service covers all aspects of internal and external decorations, servicing the general public and the commercial environment. We specialize in listed building works using the original traditional products, but we also use new state-of-the-art decoration materials available.

Specialist Decorating

Our specialist decorating services include all aspects of spraying, gilding, and murals. We have extensive experience in working with a variety of specialist decorating materials and techniques.

Bespoke Joinery

Our joinery workshop is based in our yard at Sidmouth and is staffed by time-served joiners and an apprentice. We are committed to producing high-quality traditional joinery, from high-end residential to social housing and from high street fashion to cutting-edge bars and restaurants. We offer expertise and flexibility in handling wood and other associated products.

Shopfitting

We provide first-class expertise and experience in a range of construction-related skills to service relationships tailored to our clients' requirements. Our services are available across Retail, Leisure, Bar, Hotel, and Office sectors. We welcome the opportunity of tendering for projects on a site visit, specification and drawing, or a bill of quantities basis.

Areas We Cover

We cover the South West for Small Works, which include repairs and maintenance services. Our shop fitting team regularly works throughout England, Scotland, and Wales, providing a fast-track service. We offer bespoke joinery to private and commercial clients within the home counties.

At Montgomery-Coates Ltd, we are committed to the provision of safe working practices and maintain our Health & Safety obligations through our internal Health and Safety Co-Ordinator and The Building Safety Group Ltd, who undertake regular site visits.
