At Red Hen Day Nursery, we are dedicated to providing a unique and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years. Our nursery is set on a beautiful working farm in rural Lincolnshire, providing an idyllic setting for children to grow and thrive. Our team of highly skilled and experienced staff are passionate about providing a high-quality early years education, focused on the individual needs and interests of each child.

Our Setting

Our nursery is set amidst the picturesque surroundings of Manor House Farm, Legbourne, Louth. We have private access to our own extensive outdoor areas, including fields, ponds, and woodlands, allowing children to explore and learn in a natural and stimulating environment. Our purpose-built nursery is designed to provide a warm and welcoming space for children to play, learn, and develop.

Our Services

At Red Hen Day Nursery, we offer a range of services designed to support children's development and well-being. Our dedicated staff team provide a high-quality early years education, focused on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. We also offer daily food experiences, where children can participate in growing, harvesting, and cooking their own food, promoting healthy eating habits and an appreciation for where food comes from.

In addition to our educational programs, we also offer parent and baby sessions, providing an opportunity for parents to bond with their babies and meet other parents in a supportive environment. Our award-winning home-cooked meals are prepared fresh on site, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

Our Team

Our team of experienced and qualified staff are dedicated to providing a high-quality early years education. We have a range of qualified staff, from level 3 to level 6, EYT, and QTS, ensuring that children receive the best possible care and education. We also support apprentices, providing them with the opportunity to gain early years experience, skills, and knowledge. All of our staff and management team are first aid trained, and we have fully trained Forest School practitioners, ensuring that children can benefit from our extensive outdoor areas.
