At Spotmix (UK) Ltd, we pride ourselves on being one of the leading producers of ready mixed concrete to the highest specification. Our brand new automated truck mixer is capable of carrying up to 8 cubic metres of raw materials, including aggregates, cement, and water, ready to be delivered and mixed on site. We also supply a full range of bulk aggregates, including 3mm washed fines, 6mm to 28mm single size, 20-5 concrete aggregates, and granular sub-base.

Our Story

Spotmix (UK) Ltd was set up by Jerry Deir and his wife Susan in March 2005. We recognized a gap in the market for precise delivery of pre-mixed concrete in any quantity, particularly for smaller construction projects. Traditionally, premix concrete deliveries were only available in minimum quantities of 6 metres or more, which was unviable for smaller projects. Our solution was to develop a specialised vehicle consisting of a number of containers on a truck base, including a water reservoir, a hopper containing mixed ballast, and a silo for bulk cement. Our mixer is capable of mixing from as little as a wheelbarrow or less to a full mix, and can be adjusted easily to produce various strength concrete to meet the requirements of our customers.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to meet the needs of our customers, including small builders and home DIY enthusiasts. Our free barrowing service ensures that the concrete is tipped exactly where it is needed, rather than on the roadside hundreds of feet away. We also provide a manned wheel-barrowing service to ensure that the concrete is delivered to the exact location. Our on-board computer measures the quantities very accurately, and our customers only pay for what they use. We deliver from as little as 1/2 cubic metre to full load, across the North Wales Coast, and we don't charge for part loads or any other hidden costs.

Quality and Standards

We take pride in meeting the appropriate British and European Union standards for aggregates for concrete (BS EN 12620:2002) and composition, specification, and conformity criteria for common cements (BS EN 197-1:2000). We have entered into a long-term agreement with a local aggregate producer to ensure that the material used meets the highest standards.
