At Shard Woodworking, we utilise durable and attractive hardwoods for our exterior joinery projects, such as iroko and sapele, renowned for their long life span and minimal seasonal movement. For interior work, we primarily use oak or redwood, but we are happy to accommodate any timber our clients require and use high-quality finishes, like Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Zinsser, Osmo, Sadolin, and others.

We also offer a wide range of glazing options, including toughened, acoustic laminate for sound insulation, double glazed units, heritage slim units, and other specialised glass solutions. Our paintwork uses micro-porous paints that allow the timber to breathe, preventing rot.
