We have certainly come a long way since then, retaining our traditional skills while incorporating the latest technology in our well-equipped workshop. At Galasso Signs, we believe that no job is too small or too large. We are as dedicated to creating a single small sign for a customer as we are to executing contract work on a fleet of vehicles or fascia signs for a chain of shops. Our History
Before founding Galasso Signs, Franco Galasso pursued his passion for art and design. He studied oil painting and gouache (watercolor) at Stevenage College for his 'A' levels in 1974. Following this, he undertook three years of full-time training in Graphic Design at the same college. After leaving college, Franco worked in Packaging and Graphic Design for two and a half years in Welwyn Garden City and then moved on tobrochure and advertising design for several companies in Hitchin.
Franco's first hand-painted sign was for a friend's garage. The positive feedback and additional work from his friend's customers led Franco to continue working from home for several months. As his business grew, he moved into a small workshop in Bancroft in 1988, eventually expanding further by purchasing unit 4 at Wilbury Way. As the company continued to grow, Franco invested in new technology, including a pc-driven vinyl cutter and CNC router.

At Galasso Signs, our skilled team of professionals transforms our clients' ideas into reality using our in-house vinyl graphics cut from our 1.2m cutter and installed by our expert fitters. No vehicle is too large for us to handle, and we use 3m Scotchcal 100 vinyl for a top-quality finish, backed by a 7-10 year guarantee. Our full-color digital prints on vinyl come with a laminate cover for weather protection, and all graphics are produced using high-quality MacTac vinyl with a 5-7 year guarantee.
