We are delighted to welcome you to our school website. All are welcome at St Anthony's Catholic Primary School, situated in Saltney, on the Wales side of the town, situated on the Welsh/English border with Chester. We are an inclusive school where children are immersed in a diverse learning community with wellbeing and learning at the heart of everything we do.

Our School Community

Our school community is built on a strong foundation of values, which are centred around our Mission Statement: "Learning and growing together with Jesus." We strive to create an environment where our students feel valued, respected, and supported, enabling them to reach their full potential in every aspect of school life. We believe in the importance of collaboration between students, parents, teachers, and the local community to achieve this goal.

Our Services

At St Anthony's Catholic Primary School, we offer a range of services to support the educational and personal development of our students. Our Early Learners (Foundation Phase ages 3 - 7) have access to an excellent outdoor provision that is used all day, and large, light, ventilated and well-resourced indoor classrooms. Our Juniors (Key Stage 2 ages 7 - 11) benefit from a new Wales curriculum that focuses on practical learning opportunities. We also provide a range of extracurricular activities, including a thriving breakfast club and after-school club, as well as access to technology, including chrome books, iPads, and desktop computers.

Our Curriculum

We are committed to delivering a curriculum that is tailored to the needs of our students, with a focus on the Four Purposes of the new Wales curriculum: Ambitious, Capable Learners; Enterprising, Creative Contributors; Healthy, Confident Individuals; and Ethical, Informed Citizens. We strive to provide a well-rounded education that prepares our students for success in all aspects of life.
