Our experienced instructors are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment, and our facilities are well-maintained and designed to cater to the needs of both horse and rider.
Our Event Centre hosts a range of competitions throughout the year, including show jumping, dressage, and cross-country events, as well as clinics and other equestrian activities. Our international-sized indoor arena provides a fantastic venue for these events, and our experienced team is always on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
In addition to our riding school and event centre, we also offer livery services for horse owners. Our approved livery centre is designed to provide a safe, happy, and healthy environment for your horse, with 24-hour on-site care from our experienced and qualified staff. We understand that every horse is unique, and we tailor our livery services to meet the individual needs of each horse.
Our History
Trentvalley Equestrian Centre is a family-run business that has been established for over 60 years. Founded in 1958 by Joy Wilson, the centre has grown and developed over the years, moving to its current site just outside Southwell, Nottinghamshire, in 1990. Today, the centre is run by the second and third generation of the family, and we are proud to have built a reputation as one of the leading equestrian centres in the East Midlands.
Our Facilities
Our centre is situated on over 300 acres of farm land, all of which is dedicated to pasture and paddocks. This provides a beautiful and peaceful environment for both horses and riders, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and welfare for all our horses and ponies. Our facilities include a range of stables, arenas, and amenities, and we are constantly investing in new facilities and services to ensure that we remain at the forefront of the equestrian industry.
