Our History
Our journey began in 1968 when David Humphreys opened his estate agency office next to the Post Office in Brunswick Road, Shoreham. Due to its unprecedented success, the business outgrew its premises and moved to larger offices at 32/34 Brunswick Road within three years. In 1973, the company expanded by opening a further office in Steyning, situated adjacent to the Law Courts. Stuart Osborn joined the Shoreham branch in 1976 and later went on to manage the Steyning office. In 1987, he was invited to join David as a partner in the business, and the company was renamed Osborn Humphreys.
Joining the Family
In 2002, Stewart Osborn retired, and Stuart took over as the sole proprietor. In 2013, Benjamin Frankling joined the Steyning team and quickly progressed to Branch Manager. He is now the owner of the Steyning business, taking over from Stuart Osborn in 2019.
