Review: For 15 years Geoffrey Matthew managed a rental property for me that was my main home. For a large majority of that Amanda Aukett was the management agent. Her professionalism was excellent. She kept on top of getting repairs and statutory checks done. I always found her approachable and friendly. My tenant offered to buy the property and it was the right time for me to sell. Bradley managed the initial stages of the negotiations very well.
The branch manager, Suzanne Smyth then dealt with the final stages. I was always promptly updated by phone or email until the sale completed. I highly recommend them to either manage your rental property or your house sale.

Review: Reply for geoff! Writing lies on your replies makes you and your company look even worse and even more reason why you need proper regulations against you. Barham road owner knew from day 1 he's new build plot was not going to be released and so did Geoffrey Mathews he came back to us and said he would move in with family! 4 months down the line and day before exchange you pull out and pretend you all didn't know!
Your pure liars! You cost me and my family and 5 other families in the chain lots of money. and to make you look even worse and show what sort of business you really are you put the house straight back up as chain free fully knowing he had no idea when his new build property would be released, which proves A your liars and B you don't care if the next person that tried to buy it could cost them lots of money and stress when they realised he was in no position to move out! DONT TRY TO SELL HOUSE AS CHAIN FREE WHEN THERE NOT! Companies like you are why estate agents have such a bad name!

Review: We found our forever home through Geoffrey Matthews and was so excited to buy our first home. As much as we were able to arrange a 2nd viewing and a time to check parts of house close to completion date, If honest, was very underwhelmed by the level of customer service during the 3 months from purchase to completion and especially on completion day. Wasn't greeted by estate agent we originally dealt with and was just passed keys in an envelope and that was it, 3 months of waiting and a lot of money spent and felt very deflated by experience.
Glad we got our house but maybe not best place to buy a first house through. Every other person we know who has bought a house has got a little something from the estate agents or at least met at the house by agent, this was definitely not our experience.

Review: Paid the highest rate of commission for all the additional services when renting my property with Geoffrey Matthew but rent was never paid by the tenants, property was never checked and they even got the meter readings wrong! The tenants were so bad that all the neighbours complained of their anti-social behaviour and they completely trashed the house and even broke the garage door, leaving me with repair bills far in excess of the security deposit.
What kind of credit checks and assurances were carried out for the extortionate fees that I was charged? In short, if you want your rental property mismanaged, use Geoffrey Matthew's!
