Your Trusted Music Tuition & Live Entertainment in Harlow
With over four decades of experience in the music industry, I have dedicated my career to teaching and performing. My journey began at 17 with the electric guitar, and within six months, I was playing in bands, driven by an obsessive passion for music. Over the years, I have expanded my expertise to include acoustic guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, and diatonic harmonica, offering lessons in all these instruments. My teaching philosophy focuses on tailoring sessions to individual needs, whether students are beginners or advanced players seeking improvisation techniques. I am a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors and the Musicians Union, and I have successfully guided students through RGT examinations up to Grade 8, with many achieving distinctions.

My fees are 30 per hour, and I offer flexible lesson formats, including one-to-one sessions at my Harlow studio or online. My solo performances span popular music from the 1950s to the 1990s, and I also perform with my band Retrovox and the Phoenix Ukulele Band. Testimonials from students and event organisers highlight my ability to inspire confidence, deliver technical expertise, and provide engaging entertainment. I remain committed to sharing my passion for music while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client satisfaction.
