Live a life more in harmony with your body
We are a unique physiotherapy practice that combines mainstream, evidence-based physiotherapy with the healing arts to provide a more holistic approach to health and wellness. Our private practice, established over 20 years ago, is conveniently located just 3 miles from central Oxford, with free parking available for 2 hours. Our clinic is situated in a beautiful small forest garden behind our house, providing a peaceful and calming environment for our patients.
Our Approach
At Depth Physiotherapy - Oxford, we believe in treating the whole person, not just their physical symptoms. We understand that physical complaints can have emotional or spiritual causes, and our approach reflects this. We use a combination of physiotherapy, craniosacral therapy, somato-emotional release work, viscerofascial manipulations, energy medicine, meditation, and music for healing to help our patients achieve optimal health and wellness. Our mindfulness-based approach is particularly helpful for treating chronic pain and chronic ill health.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services, including physiotherapy, craniosacral therapy, somato-emotional release work, viscerofascial manipulations, energy medicine, meditation, and music for healing. Our services are designed to help our patients relieve pain, suffering, and dysfunction, and to explore the experience of the inner body as well as the outer body. We also offer home and workplace visits in the OX4 region and occasionally elsewhere by negotiation.
About Marguerite Wallis
Marguerite Wallis is an experienced physiotherapist with a passion for integrating the healing arts into mainstream, evidence-based physiotherapy. She has a deep understanding of the importance of intuition in the healing process and has developed a unique approach that combines the best of both worlds. Marguerite's intention is to use her skills to relieve pain, suffering, and dysfunction, and to explore the experience of the inner body as well as the outer body.
Covid-19 Safety Measures
We take the safety of our patients very seriously, and as such, we have implemented a number of measures to minimize the risk of Covid-19 transmission. These include taking extra care with hygiene, canceling appointments if we have any signs of fever, cough, or other flu-like symptoms, and using lateral flow tests when needed. We also ask that our patients take certain precautions, such as canceling their appointment if they have been close to someone with flu-like symptoms, and using hand sanitizer before and after treatment.
Positive Feedback
Kesella Scott-Somme has given a 5-star rating, praising Marguerite for her "absolute magic" approach. The holistic method has been particularly helpful for managing chronic headaches and associated neck and back pain, leaving Kesella feeling tension-free.
