Our Story

Watchfield Opticians has a rich history, dating back to 2004 when it was originally known as Precision Eyewear. Over the years, we have undergone several transformations, including a name change to Watchfield Opticians in 2010. In 2016, we invested in OCT screening equipment, making us one of the first practices in the area to offer this advanced service. In 2018, we expanded our services to include hearing care clinics.

Our Team

Our team is led by Ian Wright, a seasoned optometrist with a passion for patient care. Ian is joined by Raman Aggarwal, who specializes in medical retina, casualty, and pediatric refractions. Our dispensing optician, Wendy Wright, is dedicated to finding the perfect frames to suit your face shape. Together, our team is committed to providing personalized care and expert advice to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.

Our Location

We are conveniently located in Watchfield, just 8 miles from Swindon and 4 miles from Faringdon. Our practice is easily accessible, with ample parking and disabled access. We are proud to serve the local community, including Little Coxwell, Great Coxwell, Fernham, Longcot, Shirvenham, Uffington, Woolstone, Sevenhampton, and Bourton.
