Coriander Studio

Coriander Studio is a distinguished printmaker and publisher, located in the historic Worton Hall Studios in Isleworth, Middlesex. Our journey began in 1973 with a single screen bench in a garage, and today, we are proud to be housed in a former film studio, surrounded by other esteemed print studios, including The Curwen Studio and Huguenot Editions.

Our studio is equipped with some of the UK's largest etching presses and screen printing tables, enabling us to take on commissions from artists, publishers, and museums. We specialise in producing limited edition silkscreen and digital prints for publication, working closely with artists and adhering to their individual needs and visions. Our skilled printmakers and technicians support artists in exploring their work at every stage of the print process, from digital manipulation and stencil creation to proofing, editioning, and hand finishing.

Services

Coriander Studio offers a variety of services, tailored to meet the unique needs of each project. Our services include:

*- Silkscreen Printing:* Our studio is a specialist in solvent-based printing using both direct and indirect stencil techniques. We offer an extensive range of ink options, including water-based, pearlescent, metallic, mirror, and more. We can print on various substrates, such as paper, canvas, acrylic, metal, glass, and wood. Additionally, we provide an array of embellishments, like diamond dust, glitter, metallic leaf, collage, and 3D elements, as well as various varnishes (including UV). Our largest silkscreen format for a single impression is 280 x 150 cm, and we can tile onto bigger substrates to accommodate larger works.

*- Digital Editions:* Our experienced digital artworker collaborates with artists to perfect their proof before producing an edition or unique print using our large format Epson printers. We can produce prints up to 60 inches (152.5 cm) in width by any length on a range of fine art and photographic papers or canvas. Digital prints can be embellished with silkscreen layers and glazes, as well as hand-finishes such as diamond dust or glitter.

*- Digital Image Preparation:* Clients work with our digital artworker to prepare their imagery for silkscreen, lithographic printing, or etching, creating digital reprographic stencils. Our capabilities include oil/water-based digital artworking, inkjet printing, varnish, embossing/debossing, leafing, diamond dust, 3D print management, cyanotypes, offsite printing, photography, interdisciplinary printmaking, publishing project management, and framing.
