Our Compactors and Balers

At Capital Compactors & Balers, we take great pride in manufacturing a comprehensive range of static and portable compactors for waste and recycling, which are custom-built to meet specific customer needs. Our compactors enable customers to make significant financial savings, decreasing the number of empties, reducing waste transport costs, and decreasing the volume of landfill waste, which in turn helps save on spiraling landfill tax charges.

Our portable compactors are suitable for general and food waste where environmental and hygiene requirements demand a sealed unit or where space is at a premium. Our static waste compactors are mainly used for dry waste such as general office waste, broken pallets, furniture, window frames, textiles, and more.

We also manufacture and supply a full range of balers, including small balers, mill size balers, and horizontal balers, designed to minimize the space taken up by waste and recycling material, making it more manageable. Our fully automatic balers are perfect for high throughput customers in logistics and recyclers up to 100 tons per hour.

Factory and Engineers

Our compactors and balers are manufactured in our purpose-built factory near Sheffield, using high-grade materials that boost longevity and help reduce downtime. We have a UK-wide team of service engineers available to install, maintain, and care for your equipment. Our engineers have a passion for machinery and are highly experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and equipped to deal with every eventuality. With a large team of experienced engineers covering all areas, we can offer fast response times and provide first-time fixes.

Our factory continues to invest in larger and more modern facilities, with the latest opening in 2015, which comprises of high-tech offices, meeting spaces, extensive production areas, state-of-the-art paint studios, shot blaster facility, and more. Meet Our Team

Our team includes Laurence, our Technical Manager, who has been with CCL since 2010 and has a passion for all things machinery and electrical. Lucas, a qualified fabricator welder based in the North East, joined us in 2022. Rhys, who covers service, call-out, and installations in Wales, has been with us since 2017.

Bob, the man from Dundee, joined our fleet of field service engineers in 2020 with many years of engineering experience, covering Scotland. Roger, our hydraulically biased engineer based in the Midlands, began at Capital in 2016. Dean B and Dean V, based in Milton Keynes, have various qualifications, with Dean V specializing in electrical fault finding and welding.
