The White Hart is a family operated hotel and public house that has been at the heart of the community in Witham for more than 600 years. We have a genuine love for our hotel, with all its creaks and wonky walls, and we take great pride in the service we provide. From our 'Harty' breakfasts, through to sandwiches, steaks, salads, afternoon teas, and our ever popular roast dinners, whatever you are in the mood for, we can provide it. Naturally, we also have a special menu of smaller dishes for our smaller guests, as well as a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. (And don't forget to check our Specials boards, which are changed weekly.)

Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, and Christmas 'dos', you can celebrate them all at the White Hart. From room hire only through to a fully managed event, complete with decorations, set menu, and DJ, we can cater for them all. Stay
The White Hart may be 600 years old, but our 18 hotel bedrooms are anything but antique. With rooms to suit everybody from the single business traveler to a family of 5, our accommodation is bright, fresh, and offers all the mod-cons needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast is served in the restaurant or in one of the cosy lounges around the pub, and is included in the room price.
