Although first registered as a company in 1952, it was not until 1974, when Mike Viney bought Bracon, that its greater potential was realised. As Managing Director of the company for many years, Mike, a former dental technician in the Royal Air Force, and latterly his son Paul, successfully kept Bracon at the forefront of dental technology, enabling it to become the well-known and respected dental supply company it is today. Over the years Bracon has evolved into one of the largest dental laboratory supply companies in the country and was most recently taken over by Simon Lane at the beginning of 2024.

Bracon is an independently run business that serves all areas of the dental market, including Digital, Crown and Bridge, Prosthetics, and Orthodontics.
