MTM Plastics is a privately owned company operating from a 45,000 square foot facility in the West Midlands. With a rich history spanning over 40 years, MTM has been instrumental in developing the use of composite materials into new markets and applications. The company is one of the largest independent moulding companies in the UK, boasting over 40 compression moulding presses and an injection moulding facility equipped with state-of-the-art machinery.

Our Facilities

MTM operates over 40 compression moulding presses, ranging from 50T to 800T. Our recent investment in an injection moulding facility has added presses ranging from 100T to 600T with automated processes to ensure precise and efficient production. We also offer a wide range of post-moulding operations, including paint spraying and assembly of kits.

Compression Moulding

MTM provides moulding solutions for low, medium, and high volume requirements. Our compression moulding services are specifically designed to facilitate the replacement of metal components with composite materials, resulting in cost savings and increased efficiency. Our skilled project management team is able to offer all the necessary technical assistance required to ensure that the correct materials and features are incorporated into the design of the product.

Injection Moulding

While MTM is best known as compression moulders, we have recently invested heavily in injection moulding. This investment has allowed us to utilise the most up-to-date moulding technology, producing optimum cycle times and yielding low unit costs. We have also invested in robotics to maximise output and machine utilisation, resulting in even greater efficiency and cost savings for our customers.
