The Airyfairy Cake Company, established in 2010, has been at the forefront of creating and delivering thousands of cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and traybakes across the country. With a strong reputation for catering to special occasions, corporate and branded events, and wholesale supply, the business has grown to become a trusted name in Manchester and Cheshire. Based in commercial premises in South Manchester, all our orders are freshly baked to order, and we deliver daily across Cheshire, Manchester, and the North West.
Our commitment to quality is unwavering. We use only the best ingredients and do not use additives or preservatives in any of our products. Moreover, we cater to a variety of dietary requirements, including gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets.
The Airyfairy Cake Company started life as AiryfairyCupcakes, growing rapidly from a home kitchen to catering for a massive range of clients from blue-chip companies through to birthday parties, food festivals, and markets. In 2011, we opened the Airyfairy Cake Boutique in Didsbury, serving up thousands of corporate cupcakes, birthday cakes, and Afternoon Teas.
Our Boutique became a haven for all things cake with a homely feel and vintage theme, catering for hundreds of baby showers, birthday parties, and weddings over five years. We have made an average of 60,000 cupcakes per year, taught 1,000 people to decorate cakes annually, and served over 7500 Afternoon Teas.
Our Boutique has been featured on various BBC radio, CITV, and BBC programmes, as well as the Manchester Evening News, South Manchester Reporter, Daily Mail, Take A Break, Pick Me Up magazines. Our cakes have been featured on the X Factor for Louis Walsh's birthday, catering regularly for Coronation Street and Media City.
In 2015, we rapidly grew the external catering side of the business, moving to larger purpose-designed premises in 2016, reflecting the various cake products we offer. Chief Baker Molly took over the business in 2017, ensuring continued growth and commitment to our lovely customers.
