Our History

Melia Funeral Services (incorporating Wm. McNamara & Sons Funeral Directors) has a rich history that dates back to 1915, when Mr. William McNamara founded the business. Today, the family side of the business is being continued by Mr. and Mrs. B. Melia and their son Christopher, who is a great-grandson of the founder. Our daughter Anne Pickersgill manages the business, ensuring that the family's values and traditions are upheld.
