Ambience and Service
The pub was spacious and welcoming with friendly staff, as mentioned by Denise Clark. The staff's attention to detail was appreciated by John Dean, who was moved to a better table due to his initial table being too cramped. Chloe, the server, was particularly commendable for her excellent service.
Food Quality
The food was consistently praised for its quality, with Garry Channing and Shannon Gibbons noting the high standard of the dishes they ordered. Irene appreciated the staff's recommendation to add mini desserts to their coffees, which were lovely. Pete Xtanky also enjoyed his meal, but felt the gravy portions were too small.
Negative Feedback
However, Karen Hayman experienced disappointing service after her meal was delivered. She sat for 35 minutes without anyone clearing her table, offering another drink, or asking if she would like dessert. Cassandra Chantelle was also disappointed when she discovered the kids' play area had been removed, despite being told otherwise when booking. Her food took an hour to arrive, and her first four choices were sold out.
