Witney Plant Hire Ltd is a family-run business founded in March 2000, focused on delivering a quality service at a competitive price. Since formation, the business has not only developed into a successful and well-respected plant equipment hire company, but we have also expanded and are now offering a comprehensive range of support services that enables us to deliver exceptional diversity and value.
We specialise in self-drive heavy and light plant hire, site equipment, tool hire, portable site accommodation, and general construction equipment hire. We run a modern large fleet of plant and tool equipment from Oxfordshire, which is wholly maintained by us. Our fleet includes a wide range of equipment, from fork lift hire to excavators, dumpers, generators, compressors, skid steers, rollers, bowers, chippers, and powered access equipment.
Our Services
We offer a leading Plant Hire Service and run an extensive range of quality Self-Drive Plant equipment, delivered to your site by our fleet of dedicated vehicles. Our plant equipment is hired under CPA Terms and Conditions, and we are members of the CPA (Construction Plant-hire Association). We also specialise in Tool Hire for industrial, commercial, and residential use, with an extensive range of leading brand quality equipment wholly maintained by us.
Our on-site shop is open to the general public and trade, offering a range of power and hand tools, accessories, safety clothing, and footwear. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive range of support services, including Crusher Hire, Screener Hire, Site Welfare Hire, Heavy Haulage Services, Tipper Lorry Hire, and Crane Hire UK. We cater for longer-term contract requirements, transporting throughout the UK all types of plant equipment, aggregate, and construction supplies with our fleet of heavy haulage lorries and trailers.

Overall Experience
