In July 2014, Sarah, our head stylist, and her husband Matt, were given the opportunity to take over the lease of a local salon. After many long hours of hard work, The Hair Company was born, and we are delighted to say that the salon has been completely transformed. We have created a friendly, informal, and relaxing ambience, and we invite you to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy an experience that will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalised.
Our philosophy is simple - we want to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can relax and enjoy the expertise of our stylists. We have a separate basin area, with reclining, massaging seats, where you can have your hair expertly washed and massaged in our top-of-the-range hair products from Aveda & Paul Mitchell. Our product providers have provided professional training for all our staff, so you can be sure that we are using the right products for your hair type, whatever that may be.
Once your hair has been washed, you can move over to our revamped salon for a personal consultation with your stylist. Our stylists are experts in cutting, finishing, and blow-drying, and we offer a wide range of Wella colours to enhance your style. We believe that gorgeous hair is the best revenge, and we are here to help you achieve the look you desire.

Jodie is our technician, and she is an expert in colouring. She is passionate about creating the perfect colour for each of her clients and is always happy to provide advice and guidance on colour choices.
Jayne is our receptionist, and she is the first point of contact for our clients. She is warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. She is an invaluable member of our team, and we are delighted to have her as part of it.
