Lynford Hall's story began in 1856 when it was built for Mr and Mrs Lyne Stephens, who lived in the estate until Mrs Lyne Stephens' passing in 1894. Since then, the hall has seen numerous owners and uses, including serving as an officer convalescent hospital during the Second World War and a training college for foresters until 1957. The hall's transformation into a motel and function venue in the 1960s ultimately led to its purchase by Gerald Rand in 1971. Under his stewardship, Lynford Hall became a popular motel, wedding, and event venue.

Today, Lynford Hall Hotel boasts 38 beautifully appointed bedrooms, each equipped with en-suite facilities, a hospitality tray, and a wide-screen TV for your comfort and convenience. Our Courtyard rooms, with their own external entrance, are particularly suited for those seeking self-isolation amenities. Complimentary parking and Wi-Fi are also available for all guests.
