I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of the St Joseph's Catholic Primary School community. As the Headteacher of this esteemed institution, I am privileged to lead a school that holds a special place in my heart, having been a former pupil, parent, and now a leader. St. Joseph's is a unique place, with a strong sense of family, community, and friendship. Our Year 6 pupils leave us as well-rounded, kind, funny, spiritual, and caring individuals who are secure in the love of God.
St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School is a voluntary aided school in the Diocese of Westminster and is part of the Saint John Southworth Catholic Academy Trust. We are a welcoming and inclusive school that serves a diverse community, and we are proud to be a part of the rich and vibrant Catholic tradition.
Founded in the Catholic Faith
Founded on the principles of the Catholic faith, our school's mission statement permeates through every aspect of school life. We are committed to providing a high-quality education that is rooted in the Gospel values of love, respect, and justice. We are a school that celebrates diversity and encourages every member of our community to reach their full potential.
Admissions
Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most crucial decisions you will ever make. We understand that, and we are here to help you make an informed decision. Our admissions criteria reflect the Catholic nature of our school and prioritize children who are baptized Catholic, siblings of existing pupils, and those from other Christian denominations.
Term Dates
Please refer to our term dates for the academic year. We have structured our term dates to ensure that our pupils receive the maximum benefit from their education while also allowing for regular breaks and holidays.
Our Values
At St. Joseph's, we uphold the values of hard work, respect, care, openness, wise choices, and always doing our best. Our pupils are encouraged to develop these values in all aspects of school life. We believe that these values are essential for building a strong and supportive community, and they form the foundation of our school's ethos.
Uniform
We are very proud of our school and expect all children to wear the full uniform every day. Wearing the uniform shows that the children are part of the St. Joseph's family and helps to foster a sense of community and identity.
After School Clubs
We offer a range of after-school clubs that cater to the interests and abilities of our pupils. Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is our primary provider of after-school clubs, offering fun and affordable childcare delivered in a safe and supervised environment. Our clubs are designed to provide our pupils with opportunities to develop new skills, make friends, and have fun.
Upcoming Events
We have a range of upcoming events that showcase our pupils' talents and achievements. From sports days to choir performances, we provide our pupils with opportunities to perform and showcase their abilities.
