Luxury Cotswolds Hotel with Michelin Dining
Whatley Manor is a distinguished country house hotel nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, offering a harmonious blend of historical charm and contemporary luxury. Established in 2003 following meticulous restoration, our Grade II-listed property spans 12 acres of meticulously curated gardens, featuring 26 distinct garden rooms inspired by 1920s designs. Our culinary excellence is exemplified by The Dining Room, a Michelin-starred restaurant led by Executive Chef Ricki Weston, complemented by the relaxed ambiance of Greys Brasserie. The award-winning Aquarias Spa provides holistic wellness experiences, while our commitment to sustainability is evidenced by EarthCheck Silver Certification. With over two decades of combined leadership experience from our management team, including General Manager Chris Smith and Sustainability Officer Florence Yu, we deliver exceptional service across weddings, corporate events, and luxury stays. Our dedication to environmental stewardship is demonstrated through regenerative horticulture practices, a zero-waste kitchen garden, and a path to net-zero emissions by 2028. The property's rich history dates back to the 18th century, with architectural enhancements by H.C. Cox in the 1920s shaping its current character. Our team of hospitality professionals, including Assistant Operations Manager Oliver Harris and Events Manager Natalie Baxter, ensure every guest experience is tailored to perfection. The manor's cultural significance is enhanced by its connection to the Landolt family and its role as a venue for prestigious events like the Badminton Horse Trials.
