Our journey began over a century ago, when the manor house was initially built as a farmhouse on a farm estate. Over the years, the estate has been owned by several notable families, each leaving their mark on the property. Hotel Experience
The hotel's ambiance is peaceful and relaxed, with large and bright rooms featuring big beautiful windows with views of the gardens. The gardens are perfectly manicured, with hidden spots to sit and soak in the atmosphere. The spa area is quaint, with a big pool, treatment rooms, and a cafe.
Dining Experience
The restaurants within the manor are incredible, with a special mention to the tasting menu in the Dining Room. The food is delicious, and the staff are exceptional, providing excellent service.
Staff and Service
The staff at Whatley Manor are friendly, kind, and attentive, making sure guests have a beautiful time. They go above and beyond to make guests feel special, from parking cars to refilling tea and taking photos.

Negative Experiences
However, one guest had an awful experience, citing issues with ordering cream tea, a cold main lounge, and overpriced wine. They felt that the staff were unhelpful and uncaring.
