Our Approach
Our belief at The Cottage Nursery is to enable every child to reach their full potential by creating a home-from-home family-feel nursery that fully supports the early education as well as the children's emotional well-being. As a nursery manager, I pride myself on knowing all the children and their families and having excellent and transparent communication with each and every one of them. I have a highly qualified and dedicated team, and the support, care, and love that they show each child is truly amazing to witness. The bonds they create really will last a lifetime.
Nursery Groups
We have a range of groups designed to meet the needs of your child as they grow and develop. Our groups include:
- Baby Room (3 months - 18 months)
- Toddler Room (18 months - 2.5 years)
- Pre-school Room (2.5 years - 5 years)
Each group is tailored to meet the specific needs of your child, and we work hard to create a smooth transition as your child moves from one group to the next.
Early Education
We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life. Our qualified and experienced team delivers the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in a way that is fun, engaging, and relevant to your child. We provide a range of activities and experiences designed to meet your child's individual learning style and development needs.
Mindfulness & Wellbeing
We recognise the importance of emotional wellbeing in the early years. Our team is trained in mindfulness and wellbeing techniques, which we use to support your child's emotional development. We provide a calm, nurturing environment where your child feels safe and secure.
Outside Play
We believe that outdoor play is essential for every child's development. We have a large, secure garden area that provides plenty of opportunities for your child to explore, learn, and have fun. We provide a range of activities, including sports, gardening, and nature walks.
Enrichment Experiences
We provide a range of enrichment experiences, including cookery, music, and drama. These experiences provide your child with the opportunity to develop new skills and interests and to gain confidence in a supportive environment.
