Founded by Guy Barker Hall, who has extensive experience in the construction industry, our business started as a property maintenance company in Bath and its surrounding areas. However, due to the shortage of quality stove technicians in the area, Guy decided to learn the craft and complete the HETAS course. This enabled us to offer stove fitting services in addition to our existing services.
In late 2007, we relocated to Cornwall and shifted our focus to chimney and stove services. Since then, we have completed hundreds of installations and have built a reputation for delivering a high-quality, personalised service. Our work is especially rewarding in this part of the world, where no two chimneys are alike, and people rely heavily on their stoves for everyday use.
As a freelance company, we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, and our trusted team mostly works on customer recommendations and local stove shop referrals. We offer a complete service from replacing a cowl to installing a full central heating system, which can be linked to your current energy source. Our construction background enables us to carry out any building work required to install your stove, so you only have to deal with one company.
Guy is registered and qualified by HETAS, the official body recognised by the UK government to install and maintain solid fuel domestic heating appliances. We carry public liability and professional indemnity insurance and adhere to the guidelines issued by the Be Carbon Monoxide Aware Campaign. We are committed to providing a high-quality service that adheres to current Building Regulations, and we ensure that the work we do for you is to the highest standard and left safe.
