At Alison Davies Design, we are a British curtain pole manufacturing and design company based in Perthshire, Scotland, specialising in traditional wooden curtain poles and accessories. Established in 2001, our business has steadily grown to become one of the most recognised and respected curtain pole producers in the country.

With a passion for historical design references, our founder, Alison Davies, is driven to explore and translate these finds into small and delicate finials that are truly magical. From a simple sketch to a carved model, and then cast to become a repeatable and beautiful design, Alison's creative process is what sets us apart from others in the industry.

Our Collections

We offer four distinct collections, each with its own unique style and charm. Our "Couture" collection, inspired by historical art, design, and architecture, consists of 14 finial designs available to fit 40mm, 50mm, and 63mm poles. Our "Acanthus Vintage" collection is a love letter to French design, with a small but beautiful range of French-inspired designs. Our "Acanthus Garden" collection is inspired by botanical themes and historical designs, while our "Fabricant" collection is a modern range based on traditional form.

COVID-19 Update

During these difficult and unusual times, we urge all our customers to keep safe and well. Our business is run from home, and both Alison and Nigel are available to take orders and dispatch them as normal. However, please note that both the post office and couriers are under a great deal of stress from increased business, and orders may take longer to reach their destination.
