Our History

Dental Technique was founded in 1989 by Charlie and Jane Gallagher, and since then, the company has seen continued growth, purchasing a number of independent dental laboratories and moving into a purpose-built facility in 2001, where the company remains to this day. Charlie, a registered GDC Dental Technician with a special interest in cosmetic prosthetics and implants, oversees the day-to-day running of the business alongside the General Manager and fellow GDC Dental Technician, Heather Anderson. Jane ensures the smooth running of all administrative, financial, and contract-based elements of the business.

Our Services

As a full-service laboratory, our departments strive to offer the best possible service, from our reception staff right through to our delivery drivers. We work with the highest quality products on the market, and our experienced staff are dedicated to meeting our clients' needs. We constantly strive to remain at the forefront of the ever-changing technology within the dental industry, and we are proud to work with Straumann, Etkon, and Kavo cad cam systems. We are also one of the few laboratories in Scotland who hold DAMAS (Dental Administration Management Audit Systems) accreditation.

We provide a wide range of services, including Emergency Denture Repairs with a 2-hour turnaround, deliveries throughout the UK, and collections from our lab by arrangement. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality products and superior customer care, and we believe in continuous professional development, training, and qualifying many of our own staff.
