Welcome to The Bakewells Care Home, a family-owned and managed residential home that has been providing exceptional care for the elderly in Bolton for the past 21 years. Location

Situated in the heart of Deane, Bolton, The Bakewells Care Home is located at 102 Junction Road, BL3 4NE. Our setting is both safe and family-oriented, providing a warm and welcoming environment for up to 23 residents in our main care home and an additional 11 residents in our bespoke dementia unit, The Deane. The Deane is located separately on the ground floor of The Bakewells Specialised Dementia Unit and is designed to cater to the unique needs of individuals with dementia and other age-related cognitive impairments.

The Bakewells Care Home is proud to be Bolton's only OUTSTANDING rated care home for the elderly, as rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our management team is dedicated to ensuring that our care home is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. We have received top marks in all of these categories in our most recent CQC report, reflecting our unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

Accommodation / Facilities

At The Bakewells Care Home, we offer luxury accommodation with two dining rooms, three communal lounges, and 21 single rooms with centrally heated radiators and individual controls. Our residents are welcome to take their meals in their rooms if preferred. Our extensive landscaped grounds and gardens to the front and rear of the building provide the basis for many of our outdoor activities, and we have visiting restrictions in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.

Our dementia care unit, The Deane, provides increased levels of person-centred care tailored to the unique needs of individuals with dementia and other age-related cognitive impairments. Our team of professional and specialist caregivers are trained in dementia care and work tirelessly to provide compassionate care that promotes a good quality of life.
