At Loanhead Miners Youth Football Club (LMYFC), we are passionate about providing a platform for young people to develop their football skills, build confidence, and make lifelong friendships. Our club was formed in 1964, originally as Eskdale Boys Club, and has since grown to become a thriving community of football enthusiasts.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high-quality football coaching, training, and playing opportunities for children and adults of all ages and abilities. We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages participation, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of football services, including:
- Soccer Tots Kids School for 3-5 year olds
- 4x4s, Super '5s', 7-a-sides (ESSDA), and 7-a-sides (SWF) for children aged 5-12
- 11-a-side football (SERYFA) for children aged 13 and above
- Walking Football for the over 50s
- Summer Camps with LMYFC & CedgeFA
Our experienced coaches and dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that every player receives the guidance and support they need to reach their full potential.
Our Achievements
We are proud to have achieved the Scottish FA Quality Mark and to be the first club in Midlothian to have Community Club Status. Our teams have also represented Heart of Midlothian at the Scottish Cup Final and have participated in various coaching sessions and tournaments.
