Our historic venue combines elements of fourteenth and sixteenth-century architecture with the meticulous craftsmanship of the Arts and Crafts movement, offering a unique and magical setting for a variety of events. At Morris Hall Shrewsbury, we pride ourselves on making this enchanting building accessible to as many people as possible, and we are delighted to offer both our main hall and the Lake Room for hire.

Our Spaces

The main hall, with its impressive decorative fireplace, lovely wooden floor, and leaded-glass windows, can accommodate up to 100 people. The stage is perfect for entertainment or speeches, while the main hall comes equipped with 100 chairs and fifteen tables, offering flexibility for weddings, receptions, social celebrations, workshops, classes, and more.

The Lake Room, with its painted and panelled walls, is an intimate space recommended for meetings, lunches, seminars, and workshops. The room can comfortably seat up to 30 people, and tables and chairs can be arranged to suit your requirements.

When you hire the Hall or the Lake Room, you will have access to our well-equipped kitchen, complete with an electric cooker, two fridges, and boiling water on tap. This facility is ideal for events requiring hot drinks, catering, or food preparation.
