Our Story
At Mill Meadow, our journey began in 1989 when the Heayns family purchased the land on which we now reside. The family moved onto the site in 1993, and for many years, the land was used as a plant and tree nursery for their family landscaping business. The picturesque Lake was established in 1990, providing irrigation for the nursery. It was in 2006 that the vision for developing a sustainable eco-lodge community began to take shape. Our passion for the surrounding landscapes and countryside of the Quantock Hills, which were designated as the first "area of outstanding natural beauty" in England, has driven our endeavour to create a unique and luxurious retreat.
