Review: I'm extremely angry and let down with the Bridlington practice today and I will not be returning. I booked my working border collie for her booster shots. I made the staff aware in advanced that she wasn't keen or happy with being manhandled by people as might not like her jabs. Previous experience with the same practice have left my collie very fearful of vets after she was previously in overnight for an upset stomach.
She is never bitten or been aggressive to myself or anyone else apart from the vets here. I asked the vet to look at her condition for me. He made comments about her being extremely scrawny and skinny saying I wasn't feeding her enough. Yet me explaining she is very picky with food but she's on high quality most and working dog biscuits. Again reiterating she was a working young dog.
Then went on to say it could be worms, even though I had said she had been wormed by me. He made no effort to touch her or look at her teeth. But yet made remarks saying she looked in bad shape. What topped it all off was the manhandling of my dog which is very concerning. Her collar was as so tight I couldn't slip my fingers in between and they left a slip lead on her, saying the couldn't get it off.
Their approach has cost me a very fearful dog, then for them to ask me is a rescue, really upset me. I felt pushed into buying sedation tablets and overall was a nasty experience. Especially when paying, this vet gossiped to the office staff infont of me. This really makes me concerned about the ability of the veterinary staff and team. Taking no due care for the animals.

Review: Took our elderly dog in to the Driffield practice, who was really poorly and had stopped eating. Initially saw vet Lucy who spent a long time assessing him, asking questions and listening to our answers and concerns. She was very good with him (and us!) The initial treatment we opted for unfortunately didn't work as well as hoped and he ended up having to be taken in to the Bridlington branch as an inpatient, where we saw vet Gill.
She was very patient and clearly explained a plan of action to try and make him better. Pleased to say he is now back home and we cannot thank them enough! Highly recommend this practice for anybody who wants the best care for their pets.

Review: I took Bear in for his 6 monthly check up and he was seen by Louise. She was very thorough and gave good advice about Bear's wellbeing. She obviously loves animals and Bear took to her straight away and he even took a treat from her which he never does usually. Bear was relaxed so I knew that Louise knew exactly what she was doing. Louise is a credit to Aldgate vets and I went away happy that Bear's check up was thorough and professional.

Review: Great vets a short walk from Driffield town centre there is also plenty of parking. A warm friendly welcome from the reception staff and the vets awaits you. I have my border collie registered here and they have always been first class. My collie is registered on their pet plan scheme so I get all her annual vaccinations, flea and tic treatments at a low monthly cost.
They usually like 48hrs for ordering of pet plan scheme items. Most recently took my collie here as she suffered a bite from another dog leaving 2 holes around her neck area. The practice got Jess in straight away that morning, the vet was ace as well. They have weigh scales in reception which is large enough to sit separately if your pet gets a bit too enthusiastic about others.maybe it's in case the humans get a bit too enthusiastic!?
They have a 24/7 staffed practice at Bridlington as well as hydrotherapy facilities if your pet needs rehab. The facilities are great, the staff are great, top practice and happy to recommend.
