Established in 1990, MAP Studio Cafe is a unique and versatile venue situated in the heart of Kentish Town, North London. Our cafe, recording studios, and event space have been a hub for creativity and innovation for over three decades, offering a range of services to meet the needs of musicians, artists, and businesses alike.

Cafe Opening Times

We are open seven days a week, from 1pm to 11pm, providing a welcoming and relaxed environment for our customers to enjoy a wide selection of food and drinks. Our cafe is a popular destination for those in search of great company, delicious coffee, and a place to work or study.

Recording Studios

Our state-of-the-art recording studios are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing a professional and inspiring environment for musicians to record and produce their music. Our main studio and writing room are equipped with the latest technology and are designed to cater to the needs of artists at every stage of their career.

Event Space Hire

Our venue space is available for a variety of events, including filming, recording, rehearsing, streaming/AV, and private party hire. With a capacity of 60 standing or 40 seated, our intimate and atmospheric space is perfect for events of all sizes. We offer a range of private hire catering solutions, from simple buffets to three-course meals with champagne, ensuring that your event is tailored to your specific needs.

Technical Specifications

Our venue is equipped with a 2000 watt PA system, a high-speed internet connection, HD projector, HDMI inputs, high-quality upright piano, Hammond organ, and a selection of high-quality backline. We also have two fully stocked bars and draught beer, ensuring that your event is well-catered for. Our technical specifications include QSC 10.2 Active 2000 Watt FOH speakers, HK Pro 10 monitors x2, and The Box MA8/2 x2.
