Our Services
At Matthew James Publishing, we specialise in publishing both fiction and non-fiction for adult readers. Unsolicited manuscripts are always welcome, and we are particularly interested in Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Thriller genres. However, we remain open to all submissions, as our focus is on discovering and developing hidden gems.
Digital submissions are the preferred format, and we require the first three chapters of your manuscript, a proposed title, and the total word count. A full synopsis, including the ending, and a brief blurb are also necessary for us to fully understand your work. If you have already self-published your title, please let us know where and when it is available. Any additional supporting material, such as a designed cover or internal illustrations, are always appreciated.
Upon receiving your submission, we will review it carefully and get back to you if we believe your work aligns with our publishing ethos. As a company, we believe in fostering strong relationships with our authors, so our first step is always about effective communication and understanding your goals for the book. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a response to every submission, but we do aim to provide constructive feedback to as many people as possible.
