Our menu features homemade soups and sandwiches, scrumptious cakes, and afternoon teas, all made with the finest ingredients and presented with care. From breakfast to lunch and afternoon tea, we have something for everyone. Whether you're looking to meet friends, grab a quick bite, or simply relax with a cup of coffee, we have the perfect spot for you.
Sustainability
We understand that the coffee industry has a significant impact on the environment, society, and the economy. That's why we have made sustainability a core principle of our business. Our approach to sustainability is focused on economic, social, and environmental pillars, and we are committed to making a positive impact in all areas. We are proud to be one of the first companies to introduce triple-certified coffee, Fairtrade, organic, and Rainforest Alliance, and we continue to work with suppliers to promote sustainable practices.
Our Sustainability Commitment
At The Coffee Trader, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting sustainability in our operations. We have achieved ISO14001 accreditation for our environmental management system and are constantly looking for ways to reduce our waste and carbon footprint. We also prioritize the well-being of our employees and work to develop their skills and provide opportunities for development. Additionally, we are committed to transparency and accountability in our business practices and have made a zero-tolerance approach to human rights abuses.
Our Community Engagement
We believe in giving back to the community and support three charities: the David Williamson Rwanda Foundation, the Fundacion Amigos del Cafe, and the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. We also partner with local schools, such as Holyrood Secondary, to inspire young people about the food and drink sector and provide them with hypothetical business assignments for their coursework. Our long-term goal is to make a meaningful impact and regularly review our progress to ensure we stay at the forefront of innovation in sustainability.
