Trusted Christian Residential Care in Dereham
Eckling Grange was founded in 1960 as a residential home for retired missionaries and those who had ministered in a full-time capacity. Our original charitable aims remain unchanged, though we now welcome residents of all backgrounds. The day-to-day management is entrusted to our General Manager, Care Manager, and Trustees, who work collaboratively to maintain our standards. We currently provide 62 residential places, including 20 dedicated to dementia care, alongside 54 sheltered accommodation bungalows for individuals or couples. Around 125 elderly residents live with us at any time, and we strive to foster a Christian family spirit through our community-focused approach. Our experienced team delivers high-quality care, and we are proud to be authorised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The Grange occupies a Victorian house expanded over decades, set within six acres of landscaped grounds featuring walkways, gardens, and quiet spaces. Our facilities include multiple lounges, a large dining room, an extensive library, and modern kitchens catering to diverse dietary needs. We offer a vibrant programme of spiritual and social activities, including worship services, Bible study, and community events. Our staff of around 90 full-time and part-time members includes carers, supervisors, and support personnel across catering, cleaning, maintenance, and administration. We consider every application individually, welcoming both privately and socially funded residents to our residential home and sheltered bungalows.
