Our founder, Hugo Lamdin, is a master craftsman who marries traditional techniques with modern sensibilities and a passion for innovation. Our Services

At Hugo Lamdin Furniture, we specialize in crafting bespoke pieces that are both classic and imaginative. We work exclusively with the finest quality hardwoods, from the smooth White Ash to the warm European Oak and the stunning Black Walnut. Our approach honours the simplicity of wood, celebrating its natural character and avoiding unnecessary treatments or attempts to make it something it isn't.

We offer a wide range of services, including the creation of original designs, expert craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to quality. We transform spaces and turn houses into homes by focusing on the finer details, expressing close attention to detail, and striking the right balance between practicality and beauty.

Our services include:

• Tables: We create a variety of tables, from traditional mortised and tennoned frame tables to elegant writing desks and quirky side tables. Our tables are versatile, solid, and beautiful, serving as gathering points for buildings.

• Seating: Our chairs are designed with comfort in mind, embracing elegant curves and experimenting with angles. We create chairs that complement the body and are a pleasure to sit, sprawl, or perch on.

• Cabinets: After training at Rycotewood Furniture College, Hugo began his professional career as a cabinetmaker. Our cabinets are durable yet delicate structures, expressing close attention to detail and a focus on the finer characteristics of timber.

• Bespoke Commissions: Much of our work is centered on bespoke single-piece commissions for individual clients. We also have experience developing entire interior concepts, working closely with architects and designers to create cohesive, beautiful spaces.
