Empowering Independent Living, One Mobility Solution at a Time.
Much Hadham Pre-School is a registered charity (No 298642) dedicated to providing high-quality early years education to children from the age of two. Our pre-school is nestled in the picturesque countryside of Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, and boasts a large secure garden and purpose-built facilities designed to encourage exploration, investigation, and learning.
Our Approach
At Much Hadham Pre-School, we believe that every child is unique and should be given the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace. Our qualified staff support children's play by providing structured, planned, challenging, and progressive activities that promote independence, social skills, and thinking. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework in an all-inclusive, fun, safe and enabling environment.
Our inside and outside learning areas provide ample space for children to explore and investigate, and our large garden offers regular Forest School lessons that allow children to connect with nature and develop a sense of wonder and curiosity about the world around them.
Learning at Much Hadham Pre-School
We allow each child to learn at their own pace through play-based activities that encourage self-confidence, independence, and personal success. Our staff work closely with each child to plan activities that are tailored to their individual needs, interests, and stage of development. We believe that every child has the potential to succeed and strive to provide a supportive and nurturing environment that enables them to reach their full potential.
Our Staff
Our pre-school is proud to have a team of dedicated and experienced staff who are committed to providing the best possible care and education for our children. Our staff members hold relevant qualifications in early years education and have undergone rigorous training and checks to ensure their suitability to work with young children. We have a qualified SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) who works closely with children, parents and external agencies to ensure that every child's individual needs are met.
Admissions
We accept children from the age of two and operate from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday during term-time, split into morning and afternoon sessions. We offer a range of sessions to suit the needs of our families, including funded and paid-for sessions. Our admissions process is designed to be simple and straightforward, and we welcome parents to visit our pre-school before applying to ensure that it is the right setting for their child.
Facilities
Our pre-school is purpose-built and set in leafy countryside, with a large secure garden that offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and learning. Our inside learning area is designed to be flexible and adaptable, allowing children easy access to the garden at all times. We have a range of resources and equipment that are designed to promote learning and development, including books, puzzles, construction toys, and art and craft materials.
Supporting the Pre-School
As a registered charity, we rely on the support of our local community to maintain and improve our facilities and services. Our primary fundraiser is the Much Hadham Summer Ball, a much-anticipated event in our village that raises vital funds for the pre-school. We are also grateful for any donations or fundraising efforts from our families, friends, and local businesses.
