Buying Experience
The buying experience at this garage seems to be a mixed bag. Some customers have reported positive experiences, such as Sarah M. who had a pleasant and helpful encounter when her exhaust pipe fell off, and Haydn Neville who has bought 12 cars from Malcolm over the years and has always received excellent service.
On the other hand, Chris Ferguson had a very negative experience when he discovered that the garage had not replaced the clutch on a car he was interested in buying, despite claiming to have done so. He was eventually given a full refund, but only after he threatened to return to the garage. Phil Duffy also had a poor experience, feeling ripped off by the high prices charged for repairs to his MX5.
Servicing and Repairs
The servicing and repairs carried out by the garage have generally received positive feedback. Robertospoonero had a pleasant experience when they had to get their vehicle repaired at short notice, and Adam King was impressed with the quick turnaround for an MOT retest. Richard Waldron also had a positive experience when they had their camper van MOT'd.
However, Phil Duffy was unhappy with the work done on his MX5, feeling that the prices were too high and the work was not done correctly. He also felt that the garage refused to compromise on a refund to keep him happy.
Staff and Customer Service
The staff at the garage have generally been praised for their friendly and welcoming attitude. Lee, Annette, and Anne Marie were all mentioned by name as being particularly helpful and professional. Malcolm, the Service Manager, has also received positive feedback from several customers, including Haydn Neville and Maureen Thomas.
However, Chris Ferguson had a negative experience with Malcolm, feeling that he was not honest about the state of the car he was interested in buying.
